Wayfind volunteer attorneys provide valuable legal advice to low-income micro-entrepreneurs, who would not otherwise have access to legal services.
Our Microenterprise Legal Clinics last for 2.5 hours. Wayfind volunteers meet with 2-3 clients for about an hour each, providing consultation on business issues, such as choice of entity, contracts, leases, intellectual property, etc.
Wayfind has two Microenterprise Legal Clinics in partnership with our community partners:
- Seattle, in partnership with Ventures – Microenterprise Legal Clinic meets monthly on the second Tuesday of the month.
- Edmonds, in partnership with StartZone NW – Microenterprise Legal Clinic meets biannually.
To volunteer, fill out our online Volunteer Enrollment Form or send a completed Volunteer Enrollment Form to email@example.com and indicate that you are interested in volunteering for our Microenterprise Legal Clinics. For more information about volunteering email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at 1-866-288-9695.
Wayfind is extremely proud of the work done by our volunteer attorneys in service to the community. As such, we require a high level of professionalism and timeliness from our volunteers. If a Volunteer Attorney is late for 2 clinics, we reserve the right to discontinue scheduling them in the future.
